Diagrams - expansion buttons on children bar

I find myself frequently tailoring FH's diagrams to fit a page, whether for publication or to send to another researcher. Even though it is sometimes a bit labourious, I can achieve most things by splitting off a gedcom containing only the individuals I want and then exporting the diagram to a photo editor where the boxes can be moved around using using cut and paste to fit on a page.
A really useful feature would be to have expansion buttons between the children bar and each of the children. (This would be in addition to the button we presently have between the parents and the children bar). The ticks one would then get on the children bar would then indicate the number of children without needing to devote space to their names.
This would be particularly useful to turn off the box for child who does not produce offspring, while still showing the presence of the child, thus saving precious page space.
