Hi all
I have merged a number of gedcoms into my main file. I have usually ticked the box to include the 'Record originated in...' note to the imported records.
Naturally (!) I now want to delete all these notes (as they are causing problems with report generators which are listing hundreds of notes whose only content is 'Record originated in...')
However I cannot construct a query to find these notes. Can anyone give me a clue as to where these notes are and if they can be queried?
Many thanks
Brian

Notes Query
You can query to get rid of these.
The 'record originated ... ' is
INDI.SOUR[1].NOTE2[1]
Just make a query showing the expresion, I would select records only where the value starts with 'Record O' and then select the column in the query and hit delete.

Excellent[smile]
Many thanks for the reply. Even managed to amend the query to remove the note from the Notes as well.
