Numbering Additional Info Custom Events

Post by bwmitch » 26 Dec 2003 17:58

There appears to be a small problem in the Additional Info section of reports. If I have created a custom event and if I have more than one of these events for one individual, then the parenthetical numbering that keeps track of these, in the add. info section, is incorrect. For instance, I have a custom event Census (w), and this event appears twice for a person, but the second instance has (3) beside it rather than (2). Problem, or . . .?

In any case, I think that dates should follow repeated events in add. info section, or the choice to number them or to include dates.

Thanks.[cool]

If you check out the wish list you will see a request to show additional information next to the events rather than at the end.

I will pass the problem with the numbering on to Calico after the holidays.

Thanks, Jane.

I do hope that Additional Information can be left where it is, at the end, rather than next to the events only.

Numbering Additional Info Custom Events

I've noticed that this particular problem occurs when there are two different custom events being used and when one of them has more than two instances.

Looks like FH won't differentiate: all custom events in the add. info section are treated as the same type, and so are numbered 1, 2, 3, even if two are custom event X and one is custom event Y.
