Flag / diagram bug

Post by brucep » 31 Dec 2006 11:50

Bloke had two wives (consecutively I hasten to add!). One displayed to the left, t'other to the right in a diagram

A flag condition is set in the diagram scheme such that if a flag called 'Incomplete' is set, the diagram box has a red drop shadow

If the 'Incomplete' flag is set for the first spouse and *not* set for the second, both spouses boxes get the drop shadow. If it is set for the second and not the first, neither gets the drop shaddow

In other words, I suspect that the conditional diagram settings for the spouse box are only referencing the 1st spouse and are then applied to all spouses?

Regards
Bru

To add to the above, this doesn't happen with icons, only with box settings such as fill, drop shadow, line type etc.

What do you have the flag set against?

Is it against the Wife or the Husband or the Family Record?

Hi Jane,

The flag is set against the individual (eg; the wife). The case in point is a flag which indicates that a particular individual record is 'Incomplete' ie; there is information missing from the record such as one or more census returns, BMD info etc. which I would expect to be able to find fairly easily on-line but haven't yet traced and recorded

brucep - thank you for pointing this out.  I can confirm that it is indeed a bug.  It will be fixed in the next update.
