PC freezing when using FH3 report

Each time I have tried to create a report - narrative with descendants my PC freezes. This was not happening before - anyone else experiencing this?[cry]

Not that I have seen reported. Does the computer actually freeze? or does FH hang, but the mouse, CTRL ALT DEL still respond.

One thing to try is to run the validate option over your file, just in case there is a missed link in the file somewhere.

Does this happen who ever you have set as a root for the report?

Are you using 3.0 or 3.1?

Have you customised the report, or the sentence structures at all?

using latest version- shift etc does work -eventually! - to get me out of frozen FH -cursor on eggtimerwith nothing happening- have used some custom language in events - however, good news is that I have tried again with same indiv and others and report has generated - after quite a long time but then talking about 40 plus pages of report and no freezing ..so far...[grin]

The first time I tried to produce a narrative report it appeared that FH crashed. It was using huge amounts of memory and CPU time. I discovered that it was including each and every census image I had together with other source documents. As soon as I configured it not to print off source documents it was OK.
