Screen Font (Wish List)

If I'm correct, FH uses MS Sans Serif or MS Serif as the main screen font for the Records Window. Whatever font is used, it results in less clear and less readable letters (just on flat panel displays?). The property dialogue box has much clearer and darker lettering. Is it possible to change the standard font on the Records Window to something that will show up more clearly? Or, can the user be given a choice of a few fonts, at least one of them a clearer true type font? Thanks. [cool]

You can select the Records Window font.

Go to the Tools menu then Records Window Option then click on the display tab, at the bottom of the tab is a font selection option.

Jane,
I can't find where you mean. I go 'tools' then 'record window options'. I am then faced with two tabs - General and advanced. General has places to control which columns show on the record window and advanced has check boxes to control the display of things like a family's husband/wife details etc plus a button to go into a screen to set the colour of various tag values and labels. I cannot see a 'display' tab anywhere. Please help!

What version of FH are you using.
Help menu then About will show you the current version. I thought the new font option came in version 2.1.8

If not just wait a few more days [grin].

Jane,
I am using version 2.1.8. The record window font has never been a problem to me but your note mentioned something I had not seen before so I thought I would look for it.
I shall wait and see. [wink]
