Isn't this covered by the 'never married' setting on the relationship?

Or are you looking for Same sex partnerships which are already on the wish list.

I think this is just bad choice of wording in the user interface... FH says 'Spouse' when it means any relationship between two individuals (currently restricted to one of each sex, but we have hopes) which constitute a family, but I'm sure it's explained somewhere that this doesn't mean they have to be married.

I for one (and I suspect many more) would vote for a wish list item to change the wording to 'Partner' or similar.

P.S. I use 'Never married' for people who (as far as we know) never even lived together, and 'Unmarried couple' for those who did... not sure if this is what's intended, does anyone else have an opinion?
