Hello,
As I've entered census information for someone, not in consecutive years, it's displays the most recent occupation in the main window, rather than the most recent.
So for example because I entered census information for someone when they were a child, after some others, so it says that they're a scholar in the Occupation box rather than Ag Lab.
I selected re-order out of sequence data but it doesn't seem to make a difference for this.
Is there anyway to fix it so that the latest occupation is the one that's shown?
Thanks
Vicky

Occupations in the wrong order
No, sorry it always shows the first one. There is a wish list item to select a prefered Occupation.
I don't use the details tab at all and use the events Tab.
On diagrams etc if you use [<99] for the occupation index it will pick up the latest date.

That's annoying, but thanks for replying.
I've put my vote on the wish list item for it!

Occupations in the wrong order
I have INDI.OCCU[<99] as the column definition in the records window so it always shows the last (right click the column title and click Configure Columns)... Usually better, but annoying if it's annuitant, or pauper.
Worth noting that these are not strictly the date order, but the order the events are recorded if you haven't re-ordered them. You can of course add an ocupation with no date containing your preferred ocupation for this person and move it to the top (or bottom if you've done the above) of the list, and this is then what appears in the records window. The occupation box on the Main tab of the properties is always the first listed though.
