Family Historian User Group

None of the features on the drop down menu 'Internet' work. I get the error message 'Could not open or failed to locate and internet browser.' I can be connected to AOL and/or IE with the same result.

I have allowed access by FH through my firewall. My default browser and dialler is AOL and I am on broadband.

Please can you help?

Sounds like a problem with your default browser. I think FH launches .url files and this problem is a file association problem, which has come up before, and I think has been fixed by ensuring a default browser is selected.

I think you can set the default browser to Internet Explorer using the Tools->Options->Programs tab. Whether that solves this problem I don't know.
