i have a number of cousin marriages.
as the data is duplicated, it makes for an untidy output.
how can i tidy this up?

On version 3 make sure you have detect duplicates on. Just do a search for cousins here and there are many threads on this subject with suggestions.

The data is not duplicated in the file or at least it should not be, so I assume you are talking about a diagram.
