What exactly are you trying to do?

Which diagram format are you using and where exactly is the problem.

hi
installed software on 6/6/06
find detailed logs excellent but diagrams very iffy.
want to show all relations siblings etc on a chart that looks like a family tree not as if someone has had a nightmare and thrown different coloured paints at it. okay i may not be pressing the right buttons hence the query

Hi Eileen,
Can you explain what diagram you are trying to use, what are you actually seeing ?
The 'standard' diargrams are certainly not nightmare with lots of colours. Normally they are just 3 colours for the boxes (white, green, & yellow) for different types of relation, with a 2 tone background.

I can only assume the gedcom had a lot of marrying cousins in and she didn't like the duplicate lines, but did not find the instructions on how to turn them off or minimise them.
