How can I export a descendant report as a Gedcom File attachment with an email?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Exporting a Report as a Gedcom file

Hi Willieboy,
What is it that you actually want to send, a GEDCOM file with the descendents on one individual, or one of the reports that the program has created, as they are 2 different things.
If it is a GEDCOM, then the best way is to take a copy of your file, and then use the Split tree function to extract out only those people you want, using one one of the queries to control who you delete/keep.
If its a report, then display the report and use the 'Save Report As' button and select something like the RTF file.

Hi Richard
Many thanks for your help, now sorted out the Ged version via split tree.
