I have prepared a diagram showing three generatons from left to right. I would like to type onto the diagram such as 'go to sheet 3'. Is this possible, can anyone please explain, in detail, how to do it.

Ron,
Just right-click on the background of your diagram to bring up a menu box. From that select 'insert into diagram', and then 'text box'. A box will appear where you can write your text and control font, size, etc where the text should sit and whether or not you want a frame.
