Hi,
I was wondering how FH compared to other software. I read a recent review of various family tree software packages which only ranked FH at number 6!!! I know reviewers aren't always 'objective', but 6 seemed a bit low. I think the reviewer felt that there were other packages which were cheaper, easier to use and with more functions and that anything extra/unique FH had didn't warrant the expense.
I like FH and haven't had any problems, but wondered what others felt.

FH v other software
Personally I think version 3 will tick quite a few of the boxes reviewers like, the ability to create web sites and CDs etc.
I often suspect the reviewers use a tick sheet function for some of the ratings.
I think another problem is I tend to think as FH as a good starting program with lots of room to grow, where as others may run out steam.
I would not spend as much of my spare time as I do if I did not think it was worth it.
