Pedigree charts (Version 3 does not fully implemen

Post by pricero1 » 04 Apr 2006 15:26

I would like to see a real pedigree chart. This differs from what is available in Version 3 in that each direct ancester has a box even if the identity of the direct ancestor is not known. These empty boxes readily show where more work is required.

I have never actually done this but could you could create a record for individuals who do not yet exist maybe just putting male or female so that when you see a diagram the boxes show up and you can fill in details when you get them? Just a thought.[grin]

YEs, that's possible, but I don't really want to add lots of dummy entries to my GEDCOM.
