Unhiding my custom attributes from v2

Post by rfj1001 » 30 Mar 2006 19:27

I created some custom attributes in v2. I can see them in v3 if I open the event attribute list and click More/Show Hidden.

If I click on 'show' I get a message back saying they are undefined and if I try to define it into the same set of attributes as the others (ie Standard) I'm told I can't do it.

So my question is how can I get my v2 attributes showing in the standard list for v3

TIA

I think you need to define the template for the sentence before moving them. Just click on edit and say yes to create a template on the work with fact sets screen. The standard fact set is only for system supplied facts. Depending on the number of different custom items you have you could create 1 or more fact sets, if you only have a few simple ones just use Custom or RobsFacts. Page 63 of the manual covers the concepts of fact sets in more detail.
