I was just wondering if anyone out there knows where to buy Foolscap-sized white paper, by the ream, cheaply and in the UK (or UK online)? I think that foolscap might be an answer to getting my trees onto fewer sheets as it ill print in an A4 printer, is narrower but longer than A4 and, most importantly of all, doesn't mean I've to buy an A3 printer.
So far, I've had no success at all.

Patricia, I can't see any reference to foolscap paper on Viking Direct, if it is there then it isn't easy to find. Your first answer suggests you think it is the same as A3 but A3 is twice the size of A4 whereas Foolscap is just a bit bigger than A4, about the same width (0.5cm wider) but 3cm longer.

I was merely indicating it would be cheaper all round, to use A3 as it is double the size of A4
A full foolscap paper sheet is 17 x 13.5 inches.
A4 is roughly 8.27×11.69 inches.
An A3 sheet is double the size of an A4. – (8.27 x  23.38 inches)
So providing the printer can cope with A3 paper and can print sideways, it appears to be the better option.
As the original question was posed one month ago I was just trying to be helpful with it having received no reply.

Thank you all. One day, maybe, I'll have the space to use an A3 machine - I mean, to leave it on 'view' & wired up permanently.
One solution I'm working on is to produce 'small' diagrams with box 'marking' to show where one starts & another finishes. Probably, just the same number of A4 sheets, if not more, but at lease they would all be more manageable.
Any other suggestions and hints/tips will always be welcome.
