I'm new to Family Historian and have been busy importing and cleaning data from a very old and non-standard database, put together in .dbx by a cousin about 10 years ago.
As I clean the data, one issue's come up which I can't seem to work out. A number of ancestors had titles before their names (Sir/Hon) or after (1st Duke, etc) and it would be really useful to be able to see those titles when I look down the list of records in the main Records view, which I understand is the starting point for pretty much everything.
I've put them into the correct fields, and how do I now get these titles to display?
Many thanks.

At the moment you can not configure the records list window.
However you can easily create a Query with a column for the title and as long as the first column is left as the Individual record the Query screen can be used as the jumping off point.
I know configurable columns have been discussed and are the wist list.
If you have problems with the query if you leave a message here I will write one and add it to the query store for you.

Thanks for the feedback.
Hmmm, queries. Does that mean I'm creating a new window instead of the default 'records' view that I can now interrogate, expand and collapse, or will this query simply give me a display of names & titles?

You can not 'open' people in the results window of a query, bu you can use the all tab of the properties dialog in conjuction with the query results to review and amend people and jump the records window using the Goto record button.
