Showing Record ID numbers in reports

Hi there... looking for some help... I want to show Record ID numbers in reports specifically, for now anyway, the Individual Summary Report. Any suggestions?

I tried putting '=RecordID()' in the header / footer part of the report but those same words printed instead of the Record ID number.

If you have a way of solving this problem for me can you giv it to me the 'Dummies Guide to...' version!

I'm not very good at explaining, but, when the report is on the screen click on 'Options' then scroll down in the large box until you come to 'Record ID' then 'Edit' and select the option you want.

When viewing Report

Press Options Button
On Contents Tab
there should be a section which says

Main Section Items (in order)

Scroll down to where it shows RecordID
Will say it is set to hide
Then Click on Edit and select show if not empty

Then click OK and then Apply

RecordID should now show.

Thanks Tim... I will try that when I get home. I've been into the options but not seen what you suggest before, so I'll have another look!
