PC to Mac

Post by Twiggy » 29 Jan 2006 20:38

Having built up a fair-sized family tree on my PC, I have now found that one of the people I want to share it with has a Mac instead of a PC. Can anyone please advise on what i should do? Is it possible to convert and avoid the need to start from scratch again?

All the Mac programs I know of, I think reunion is the main one, are capable of accepting gedcom files for import/export.

Mac users often run VirtualPC which allows them to run Windows based applications so they can use FH as well.  If you use the search on this site and enter Virtual PC as the search string you will find several Mac users recommending this approach.
