Hello out there,
I'm a relatively inexperienced user and FH is the only FH program I've tried. I must say I find it a bit of a problem sometimes to wade through the manual in order to find out how to do something that turns out to be simple once you know how.
For instance, how do I get the program to print out my list of names so that I can transfer it to another file eg a Word file or a spreadsheet? I've tried highlighting the list and doing 'Print set-up' but the Print command stays greyed out and it won't do anything. Why?
Thanks, Honor

You need to use the Query function.
I suggest downloading the Records Window Query from the Query Store, or simply create your own with all the fields you want. Then run the query and take the save results to file icon (ths disk with the red arrow on it), you can save the information as a tab or comma separated file which can be loaded into word, excel or and other program.

Thank you very much, Jane - I've been tearing my hair out trying to do this!
