genetic relationship

I would like to see an approximate genetic relationship (i.e. percentage of genes in common) given from a specified individual (perhaps as a figure attached to each individual in a tree). It certainly puts things into perspective

More directly useful would be a facility to show inheritance of the Y-chromosome (from father) and Mitochondria/mtDNA (from mother). At the moment I am using hi-lighter pens on my charts but an automatic graphical representation would be great.
