I have pictures of churches and schools which I want to link to the relevant places or sources and then be able to see them from within an Individual record. So if someone was baptised in a specific church I could see the picture. Likewise I have old photographs of places that I don't know how to make the best use of.

You can attach photos to events or sources. just add as mulimedia objects in the normal way. Then using the record window or all tab add existing mulitmedia to the event/source etc

Does that mean I have to add it to every baptism/marriage at that Church individually - is there no way it can be done once for each event at that place?

You can not attach to locations, but i would attach the photo to the source, eg Loders Parish Records would have an image of the registers and a photo of the church.

I have hadded the multimedia objects to the sources. From within an individual record I can see the source but how do I open the picture from within the record? Sorry to be a pain.

I have been adding photos and selecting the part of the photo that highlights the person involved.
When a narrative report is previewed and printed 'as is' the photos are fine. I find that, as good as the narrative report is, I would like to edit notes and sometimes format sources so, for example, the tabs/spacing aligns. When I save it for editing the photos disappear. I understand it happening on the RTF format but not the HTML format. Are there any work-a-rounds?
