I like the automatic source citation option, but even more I'd like to have an automatic repository citation option in connection to source entries. Usually, I sit in an archive for a day or so, and during that day, the repository remains all the same - so why enter it anew for each source?

You could always put it in the clipboard, by entering all your new sources.

Then simply add the repository to the first entry of the day and then copy it to the clipboard and paste to all the others.

well, yes, basically that is what I do. But it would be so much easier if I wouldn't have to remind me of doing so all the time.

Am I not understanding something in relation to repositories?
I thought a repository was the location where a source could be found, which normally doesn't change.
Therefore quoting a source automatically gives the repository which has been linked in the source property dialogue.
Are there other ways of using repositories?

After a visit to an archive you might end up entering 40 or 50 sources.

Jane saw what I meant - the problem to be solved is this: I sit in an archive, examine e.g. the parish records, and enter sources with a title like [parish place, book, date, marriage entry for John Miller]. The way I am doing this, there often are dozens of sources, if not more, done in one session in the archive. For all of them, the repository is the same - and I found it rather boring having to add it by hand for each and every of those entries. Of course I can copy-and-paste, but still I'd rather have it done automatically.

Of course one might, instead, regard the parish records as such or one book of them as ONE source, and put all (marriage, christening, death etc.) entries found in that book into one source. I find it more practical to do it the way described above, as the citation can be far more precise and easy-to-understand then.
