A good book

Post by marklydarkly » 10 Mar 2005 13:34

I've been researching my family for only a few months and have got suprisingly far using ancestry.co.uk and establishing a few contacts with people. I suspect though that I will soon grind to a halt. Are there any really good books to help me progress further. Nothing too elaborate (or expensive) - just sort of 'Idiots Guide' really

Thanks

There is the BBC's
Who Do you think you are
and not too expensive at £9.09 from Amazon.

For more in depth research Ancestral Trails is very good, but more expensive at £21.00
