GEDMill

Post by HNyman » 02 Mar 2005 12:29

I recently downloaded GEDMill version 1.0. I was disappointed to find it would not work on my biggest FH file with lots of embedded pictures.
After an exchange of emails with the author he put his finger on the problem and version 1.1 available since 28th Feb 2005 handles the file perfectly.
The output of the program is very simple without tree displays, etc compared with say GedHTree, but it requires no setting up as is as you say in the description, is very simple to use.

I am returning to comment on GEDmill again because I have just downloaded GEDmill 1.4 Pro.
This is an enhanced version featuring extra customisation options, and the ability to add tree diagrams to each page.
The results are really very good with a minimum amount of effort.

I have downloaded GEDmill Pro and it is a wonderful upgrade to the other versions I've been using.
See my earlier comments - I'm sure I've extolled about it before! If not, I ought to have done so!
