ID Numbers

Is it possible to produce a report (eg Indiv Summary Report)in which the Record ID Nos of an individual's parents and children are also included, possibly in brackets after their names? This would make it easier to trace the correct persons when flitting through printed reports, especially when there are several with exactly the same name and sometimes even nearly the same age.

Yes simply add the data references to the details shown at the top of the report.

eg
Fathers ID
=recordid(%INDI.~FATH[1]>%)

Mothers ID
=recordid(%INDI.~MOTH[1]>%)

For the Children you will need to add a number of lines to cover the number of possible children.

Ged, contacted me directly about getting more information all on one line, both parents with thier dates and life dates heres what I came up with.

It needs to be passed in all in one line.

Code: Select all

%INDI.FAMC[1]>HUSB>%
=lifedates2(%INDI.FAMC[1]>HUSB>%)
(=recordid(%INDI.FAMC[1]>HUSB>%))
 and
 %INDI.FAMC[1]>WIFE>%
 =lifedates2(%INDI.FAMC[1]>WIFE>%
(=recordid(%INDI.FAMC[1]>WIFE>%))
all in one line it comes out on one line like this
Parents Edward TAUBMAN 1835-1884 ( 2678 ) and Anne Jane CLAGUE 1834-1872 ( 2679 )
