I'm fairly new to Family Historian and would appreciate a spot of guidance on the following:
What's the difference between 'save' and 'back up'?
When is it appropriate to use them?
Do I save/back up as zip files or gedcom files?
All help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ed

save and back up
Save is the standard way to record your information.
backup creates a compressed copy of your information, by default named differently each time so you can restore back to an earlier version should you need to.
