How many Generations in a Tree

What am I doing wrong, when I show the Family Tree I can only see from my Children and their Spouse's to my
G GrandParents on either my Grandmothers side or my Grandfathers side but not both on the same tree. Neither can I see my Grand Children unless I use my GrandFather as top of the tree. instead of my G GrandFather who cuts off the Grand Children.
How can I cure this ?
And how can I show both sets of
G Grand Parents above my GrandMother and GrandFather.
Is it normal to have a restriction on how many Generations you can show in the tree >> am using V 2.3 OF Family Historian

Change your Diagram Options 'Generations Up' and 'Generations Down' to values larger than the defaults of 3

Thanks for that Mike...got that bit working....all I want now is to See both sides of my G Grandparents..still only see whichever side, Maternal or Paternal, I click on to see the complete tree. If I click either of my Grandparents then both sides are shown.

Did that Mike in the Individual Records Window and it highlighted the Heads of each side of the Family but the Icon Bar just below the Menu Bar was Greyed out, so could not call up the Tree.

You can show the families screen instead of the individual screen and then click on the family to get the diagram. Or, using the diagram that you already have, make sure that the 'show spouses' button is pressed then left click and make a loop aroung the couple that you want to base the diagram on. Then you can click on the diagram symbol on the toolbar.

Hmmmmm...I think I made an error in saying which page I meant.....
I meant the Page that shows All the members of my Family and their IDs plus Dates of Birth and places of Birth.
For my Grandparents I only have a Great Grand Father in the main Family list (See above)One for each of my Grand Parents, but No names for my Great Grand Mothers so have used Anon and Anon1 respectively till I get them.
Now...When I Highlight either of the above Grand Fathers the Tree only shows that person but not the other one and vice versa,
I have tried all the above suggestions but still not working.
There are 6 Generations in the Tree starting from My Grand Children up to my Great Grand Fathers.
Help !!!!!

Once you have the tree for one of the couple displayed, Ctrl-click their partner in the diagram window so both are selected.

Now click the diagram button on the toolbar again.

Sorry but I have tried every combination of your sugestions and still get the same result of Greyed out inoperative buttons in the View Ancesters/View Desendents etc etc.
When the above buttons are operative it just switch's from showing Maternal Grand Father to Paternal Grand Father and vice versa.

If ever we meet you are at liberty to kick my Butt.
I have found that you also have to Ctr Click in the Tool Buttons when you have Ctr Clicked on the 2 family members.
All working okay now......Shame it is not mentioned in any of the Help or Manuals.
