Family Historian User Group

Hello All,

Unfortunately, I am having no joy in upgrading to version 2.3 from my current version of 2.2.4.

I have been trying almost every day since I received the e-mail announcing that the new version was available but the link won't run. My operating system is Windows ME and although my processor is only a 1.2, I do have 1gb broadband and have had no problem in the past loading down programmes, usually very quickly, including a previous upgrade of Family Historian. I have no other programmes open whilst attempting the download, so don't see why there should be a problem.

Are there any other links I can try or can anyone offer advice? Of course, it could be a hardware problem but I don't believe that to be the case or surely I would be having problems loading down generally.

Delete any previously downloaded version and clear your internet cache.

Then try downloading from the alternate site to the one you downloaded from originally.

I also had this problem.I downloaded a program called Fresh Download from http://www.freshdevices.com and then downloaded the FH upgrade directly from the Family Historian website with no problems.[smile]
