I have kindly been sent a large GEDCOM file of my relations in the Netherlands and will be merging it with mine. I want to give credit to the person in the Netherlands who has done all the work on that side of the family - can I set up a 'Default Source' or suchlike so that when it merges with mine it appears automatically (without me having to enter it manually on each individual) on all his relevant entries? Or is there a better way to do it?
All suggestions gratefully received! [confused]

Merging 2 GEDCOMs/giving credit to other person
When you do the merge you are given the option to add a source to every person/event added to your gedcom file. This means any people added can have a source of Mr. Dutch for example.
What I then do is add a repository record for the person who provided the data containing Name, address and contact details and attach it to the source.
