Old Front Page

I am assuming that the old front page is no longer - at least I cannot find it. It was a useful summary of the latest posts, latest downloads and plugins plus news about FH, interesting web sites etc. Is this going to be replicated in some form on the new front page? If not, may I make a request for this to be considered?

You can get the latest posts here using the Recent posts or unread posts option at the top.
The downloads have been moved to the Downloads section of the Knowledge base.
The main front page
http://www.fhug.org.uk will have the latests posts as soon as I finish working on it and the latest downloads which also include the latest links.
News will be posted to the News forum here and I'll probably use the RSS feed from that on the front page as well.
It was a bit of a catch 22 as to when we moved everything as some things could not be changed until I moved the forums over.

Thanks for that, Jane. Always a problem adapting to something new!
Thanks for all your hard work getting the new site up and running.

I kind of have to agree with Gerry. The old front page was much easier to view the overall site and select where you wanted to go.
Not sure I understand what is still in progress - maybe that will make it easier to use.
Thanks again Jane for all your hard work.

Jane,
The News list now added to the Home page includes two items called 'Custom Tree Splitter', which I don't think should be there. They look like old forum posts. Don't know how they crept in!
Keep up the good work, we do appreciate it.

Now the News is in the forum, there are comments against that one which means it has a recent date. Not found a way around it yet.

Have you tried the
Quick-mod tools: Lock topic option bottom right?
It seems to have locked my posting at
http://www.fhug.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=6891.

Not that recent Mike, it was from April this year. I imported all the articles from the old system as posts in the news forum along with the comments.
