Jane, why has the id=Home:Alphabetic_Index ~ Knowledge Base Home Index changed:
from an index on the id=Home ~ Knowledge Base Home section: {{alphaindex>Home|nons}}
to an index on the id=How_To:Index ~ Family Historian section: {{alphaindex>how_to|nons}}
which already exists at id=How_To:Alphabetic_Index ~ Family Historian Alphabetic Index?
Each of the 9 main sections:
Knowledge Base Home
FHUG Downloads
Contributing Your Knowledge
Family Historian
Ancestral Sources
Family History Research
Frequently Asked Questions
Glossary of Terms
has it own dedicated alphabetic Index at the bottom of the sidebar.
This is no longer the case for Knowledge Base Home.
Why should Family Historian be singled out, when the Wiki encompasses so much more?

Knowledge Base Home Index
I have changed it back and simply added a link to the bottom of all index pages with a link to the Main index, I have also changed the title on the menu for the Home section to reflect it's the Home section and not the Knowledge base in total.

Knowledge Base Home Index
That is fine, but it would be better to put the link to the full Knowledge Base Index at the top, because it is unlikely to be noticed at the bottom.
Also the Index for FHUG Downloads and Contributing Your Knowledge both need a similar link.
Should the same principle be applied to each FAQs section with a link to the full Frequently Asked Questions?
Having said all that I don't quite see the need, because the full Knowledge Base Index and Frequently Asked Questions are always in the Sidebar under Crossreferences.
Would it better if the lower How To Guide: Sidebar headings (the ones lower than Crossreferences:), were Family Historian, Ancestral Sources, and Family History Research respectively.

Knowledge Base Home Index
The reason I started changing them was a couple of people had emailed me as the Index which shows at the bottom on the home page was just the home section one and they missed the Cross Reference one, and it was titled Knowledge base.
I was just trying to make it clear that the subject indexes where just that and not a full index for the knowledge base.
You can revert it if you don't think it's needed.
