Flagging posts of interest.

As my senior moments approach the point where they are almost as frequent as the non senior moments I would like to be able to flag posts or threads of particular or future interest.
I guess I am not alone when I read a thread or post which offers a potential solution to an existing, or suddenly apparent, issue with my tree or research and would like to be able to flag it or at least ensure that I can get back to it when I have forgotten the subject, the thread, and where I read it. Sad case aren't I!
What do others do or am I missing the obvious?

I suggested this a few years ago, but Jane said it was not easily possible with the forum software that is currently used. Don't know if things have changed.
What I do at the moment is just save a link to any thread I'm interested in to my bookmarks in my browser, but it's nowhere near as convenient as being able to subscribe to a thread and get a notification of any new posts to it, as you can with many (most) other web forums.

You can subscribe to a thread here -- there's a notification button right next to the reply button.

I have an FHUG folder in my browser and I Bookmark interesting items in it. I use sub-folders to categorise the pages

Thanks for all the replies. Obviously it is not quite as easy as I had hoped ie I was not missing a known method of flagging Threads and Posts and from what David says it has been raised before and would need some work on it if at all possible.
The Notification button I had overlooked before CVG's post and that will be of great help for continuing threads.
For now though I will adopt John's method and have created a separate folder in my Bookmarks and by editing the title which appears to save only as a standard thread link into a more meaningful title I can now save both current and old threads and posts of interest.
Thanks again to all of you and if there are any additional suggestions it would appear I'm not alone in hoping there may be a more convenient method of flagging items.

In these new Forums there are two new features, namely
Subscriptions and
Bookmarks.
The options to enable & disable them appear at the bottom of the associated page.
See
Subscriptions and
Bookmarks for details.
You can also manage these via the
User Control Panel link, and from there jump to the Topics.
