Android Certificate Invalid

Post by tatewise »

On my Android smart-phone the following error gets reported and makes using FHUG very awkward.
I think it started on Friday 1st Oct 2021 and happens on both the Google and Chrome browsers.
Other websites are OK.

Odd, I don't see that on either my Android phone (which is what I'm using right now) or ipad.

Have you tried clearing you cache it could just be a damaged download. There is only one certificate on the web server which is used for all browser types.

I am seeing the same problem. I don't often look at FHUG on my phone so I don't know when this started, but it's never happened before. I have just tried clearing all browsing history, cookies and site data, cached images and files. It still throws up the error.

I've tried clearing all history again but still got the same warning message when trying to go to FHUG. However after proceeding to the site anyway and logging in again from scratch it now seems happy to go there again without complaint. Fingers crossed.

The same has happened to me. The problem just disappeared after a few days - no idea what may have caused it.

It looks like it could be a "Chrome" feature.
This site offers some possible fixes.
