Redundant KB Namespaces

Jane, while reviewing
https://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?do=index and
Media Manager the following Namespace folders appear to be devoid of pages and images, and thus redundant, so if you agree, can you please delete them.
about
about:alt
about:family_historian
about:other_nonfh_software
fhugdownloads:fhdocumentation but NOT the
fhugdownloads root
fhhelp
gedcomcensus
I don't seem have the privileges to delete them myself.

About was empty and has been deleted
fhugdownloads:fhdocumentation does not exist
gedcomcensus has lots of pages and media.
Some of the folders will still exist in the attic.

Thank you Jane.
Not sure why fhdocumentation vanished, unless it was somehow associated with fhhelp?
In Media Manager for gedcomcensus I "don't have enough rights to read files" so presumably nobody else can either?
In the Sitemap for gedcomcensus I cannot see any pages and they are not used in the Wiki.
It was for Nick Walkers old Gedcom Census program.
The contents must be so ancient that it is not worth keeping?
Will the attic clean itself or does it need a manual broom ~ I don't have access.

I can empty the attic and remove all previous versions of everything, but that's about it.
I can then delete all of the gedcom census documentation if it's of no use to anyone. From memory Nick did that documentation so it's probably locked down to him.
Any empty namespaces will clean themselves eventually if there are no template files in the folder.

Out of courtesy, I will contact Nick to get his approval to delete that Gedcom Census documentation.
May I leave the attic to your discretion to delete whatever you think is redundant.

Nick has approved deletion of the gedcomcensus namespace of Gedcom Census documentarian.
As an aside, I have noticed that Wiki Media Manager holds no References for: media data files that are linked using the {{pushfile>filepath|filename}} plugin control macro typically in the FHUG Downloads.
This could lead to such data files being accidentally deleted in the Media Manager as there is no usage link to prevent it.
One example is fhugdownloads:contents:about-com_fan_chart.fhdx used by {{pushfile>:fhugdownloads:contents:about-com_fan_chart.fhdx|Fancy Fan Chart}} in fhugdownloads:contents:fancy_fan_chart_about|> Diagram Type ~ Fancy Fan Chart (About.com).
I have discovered a workaround using the contributeyourknowledge:edit_existing_pages#hidden_text|> Hidden Text feature.
After the {{pushfile>...}} code insert the following that adds an invisible media link (the space after <hidetext is crucial):
<hidetext >{{filepath}}</hidetext>
i.e. for the example above <hidetext >{{:fhugdownloads:contents:about-com_fan_chart.fhdx}}</hidetext>
Could that 'trick' be incorporated into the contributeyourknowledge:edit_links_and_media#pushfile_plugin_macro|> Pushfile Plugin Macro?

Unfortunately I don't think that's possible within the pushfile code as it needs to be in the "sourcecode" to get the media registered against the indexer.

That is a pity

so we will have to rely on the advice to users given in contributeyourknowledge:edit_links_and_media#media_manager_references|> Contribute Your Knowledge ~ Edit Links and Media > Media Manager References.
Are you able to delete the
gedcomcensus namespace of
Gedcom Census pages and images please?

Thank you for deleting the
Gedcom Census pages and images.
While poking around the
KB the following entries for
TSO Host need some tidying.
Jane, would you prefer to bring them up to date, or shall I have a go ?
- info:support_fhug#web_hosting|> Support FHUG > Web Hosting and info:tsohost-small.png in the Media Manager.
- info:privacy#location_of_data|> Privacy Policy > Location of Data.
- fhugdownloads:contents:service_tsohost|> Service ~ Tsohost referenced from fhugdownloads:services|> Downloads and Links ~ Services and has a broken link to [[Krystal]], etc.
- Unused fhugdownloads:contents:tsohostlogo.png in the Media Manager.
