Website security certificate expired

Post by Gowermick »

Attempting to visit site this evening, Safari wouldn’t initially connect, saying security certificate expired yesterday!

Just making Admin aware.

Ditto with Firefox, and had to create an exception to allow access.

Microsoft Edge gave this message
The website’s security certificate is not yet valid or has expired.
Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID
don't know what the error code signifies.

@David

When you buy an SSL certificate for a website to make it use the https protocol the purchase is per year usually and what the error message is showing is that the certificate expired on 22nd June and needs to be renewed in your error message it says it all

The website’s security certificate is not yet valid or has expired.

Jane knows and is looking into it -- the certificate should have renewed automatically but seems not to have done so.
