There are many posts which I have found useful but I don't want to clutter-up the topic by adding another psts just saying I liked it. How about a like button?

Why not just use the bookmark option?

Jane, I think the idea is to show approval to the originator without making the topic more difficult to follow with extra posts. I suppose a bit like Facebook.

I would also add agree + disagree, + thanks etc.

Of course what we have is good, but often when these things are asked for it is a lot of trouble, other times it is "just the flick of a switch".

No switch or not a least on this release of the forum and I don't fancy installing the pre-Beta one. Once the phpbb forums are back online I'll take a longer look.

Yes, I wasn't suggesting a bookmark just a way of showing approval without adding posts which just say "i liked that idea!" etc.

Sirry Jane, I do not know enough to assess the work in producing such a feature so I cannot say if it is worth it or not.
