Posting Times

Is it just me, or does everyone find that, when not logged in, the displayed posting times are increased by one hour (as if in British Summer Time) but that, when logged in, the posting times are shown correctly, as is the current time?

Yes, I am seeing the times in both modes as you say because when not logged in DST (BST) is enabled see bottom right.
Jane may reset this when she returns from hols.
How have yo set your User Control Panel > Profile > Board Prefernces?
You choose your time zone and DST (BST) mode there.

When I'm logged out the bottom-right information is "All times are UTC [ DST ]"; as you suggest, I guess Jane could switch this DST off. My Board Preferences > My Timezone is set to "[UTC] ..." with ...DST... set to "No" and when I'm logged in the bottom-right information is "All times are UTC".

Jane, can the site default be set to UTC times without DST to match this time of year without BST ?

I'm not sure if it matters, but remember that in the US the dates for DST are different than in the UK.

It doesn't matter too much - both UK and USA change in March and November just a few weeks apart, so changing the site setting any time mid-March and mid-November would work.
It is simply that if looking at postings when logged in versus logged out, they can differ by 1 hour if your personal User Control Panel > Board Preferences > DST setting differs from the site default.

I have changed the default.
