Help please!
I have just tried to print an 'all relatives' diagram for a man who was married twice. The diagram shows his first wife only, and the children from his second marriage (he had no children from the first marriage). Where has his second wife disappeared to, and how can I get her back?
I am running version 4.1.3
Thanks.

Problem with two marriages
Open the man's Property Box and his Spouses should appear at the bottom like this:

The 1st tab (Julia) should be his 1st wife with NO Children listed.
The 2nd tab (Susan) as above is his 2nd wife with the Children listed below.
Do you have an Individual Record for both wives, and what is shown in their Property Boxes?
Their Spouse tab should list the husband and appropriate Children.
With this information, we can put things right.

Thank you for your reply.
All the property boxes look right with the correct spouses and children.
I'll try some other people with two spouses and see if they come out right - perhaps I've done something wrong?

I think I may have 'got it' now. It wasn't an all relatives diagram, it was an ancestor and descendant diagram that I was trying to do. Presumably spouses don't count as ancestors or descendants, so normally they don't appear at all in this type of diagram. But when there is more than one spouse, it seems to get muddled and shows just one of them.

I cannot reproduce the problem you describe with A & D Diagrams.
Who have you chosen as the root person for the A & D Diagram?
Can you try the same A & D Diagram for the Family Historian Sample Project with Anthony Edward MUNRO as the root person.
He has married twice, with no children from the first marriage, just like your data.

Okay, now I see where I'm going wrong. The spouse information is hidden in the same box as the person they married. I've never seen this in the programs I had before; I was expecting the spouse to be in their own box (which the 'other' spouse is).
I've looked around and now found the option to put the spouse in their own box all the time.
Sorry to waste your time! *blushing and hangs head in shame for not spotting this before*
