I have an inventory dated 1765 scanned to my computer. However, I'm not sure it would be a source or a multimedia. I have looked at 'Getting the most from family historian' and am none the wiser. If anyone could help me out here I would be very grateful.
Thanks

Inventories as a source
What I would do is to create a Source for the inventory (or any similar documents) and then add a multimedia record to the source.
There is nothing to stop you also attaching the media record to an event as well if you want to.

Thanks Jane, I have been playing around with this and have managed to link the inventory media to him and his wife.
However, when I go to the sources in her property box her husbands name appears in the media tab under her name Is this correct?
Thanks
Jane

I would think so, as you have the document attached to both of them.
