Family Historian User Group

I have an entry for a child with the right father but wrong mother. He married twice.

I have unlinked the child from both parents but don't know how to link back to the right mother and father. Can anyone advise.

If in the Records Window the Families tab is not visible, then use Tools > Record Window Options and set Families to Always Show.

Then open the Families Record Window and right-click on the desired Parent Family.
In the context menu choose Add Child > Add Link to Existing Individual Record.
Select the Individual Child Record and click OK.

In the Focus window for the father, there should be two families, one for reach of his wives.  For the relevant Family, click on the Add Child link and then on Link Existing Record.  Then find and click on the relevant Individual record for the child.
