Project data folder

Post by HilaryBroadbent » 16 Mar 2012 12:44

While I was checking the 'work with external file links' tab, I noticed that most census images were in the project data folder, but some were under the C/User/Hilary/Documents.. etc.
Is it possible to move them so they are all together?
Thanks
Hilary

Yes, it is quite straightforward.

Select the Census Images folder that is listed under C: - Users - Hilary....

Click the Re-Map button and choose Re-map within Project Data Folder.
In the Browse For Folder window select your Media folder and click OK.
Job done.

It is better than you realise.
It is not just neater, but it allows the Project to be Copied, Moved, Backed-up, etc, without upsetting the Multimedia file links, because they are all now relative to the Project Data Folder.
