I have a couple of great uncles who served in the marines during the first world war and have photcopies of their marine records from Kew.
I tried downloading the military fact set however it's not really what I wanted. All I want to do is attach a scanned copy of these records with a brief note as to hair, colour of eyes etc.
Would this be a source or a mulitimediea item?
Thanks
Jane

I would advise creating a Source Record for each WW1 record, and record where the record was found, its date, and any references, plus a transcript (especially if image is difficult to read).
Attach a scanned image of the photocopy via the Multimedia tab of the Source Record, just like Ancestral Sources does for other Sources.
Add a standard Physical Description Attribute with the physical details, and cite the Source Record.
