V4 Upgrade - Program Doesn't Run

Well received my V4 upgrade disc today, installed the upgrade, restarted my PC but now when trying to run the program it opens then I get 'Family Historian has stopped working'with the following error details...

Have you tried reinstalling it?

It might be sensible to email Calico directly as Simon doesn't visit here very often.

Thanks for the reply Nick, yes I have tried to reinstall the program, without success, also sent email to Calico and waiting for a reply.
Wonder what the chances are of having a duff disk...

Does anyone no if you can uninstall the V4 upgrade back to V3 without loosing any data?

Update
Well after not a very quick or particularly helpful response from Calico I decided to uninstall the complete program, reinstall V3, then the V4 upgrade and it now runs, however after restoring from backup I have lost the column customisation in the Records window but luckily data is still in the Facts (Events) boxes so can re-apply customisation.
Haven't noticed if anything else has been lost yet.
