I've been looking for replacement FH software for a couple of years. Last time I looked at FH its charting options did not excite me much (so I did not buy).
I see V4 charts are going to be rather special (but I can't find any details).
I particularly want a vertical descendant chart, with progenitor in the TOP left hand corner, with first generation descendants in a separate column to the right, and following generations in separate (not overlapping) columns. Box width and font size needs to be customisable so I can fit whatever number of generations onto a portrait or landscaped A4 page, or pages.
Am I going to be pleasantly surprised by V4 -- enough to think about buying it?
I look forward to a good answer

Charting Options V4
V3 can already do left to right descendant diagrams and you can control the box sizes. Why not download the V3 demo and try it.
The only thing I have not tried is to get the root person to the Top corner, though I suspect it's possible with use of the box moving tools.
