When merging records there are times when merging two fields doesn't fix all the incompatiblities. For instance when merging places, sometimes it's a combination of the two places that needs to be stored rather than just one or the other. Other times due to the inconsistencies between the two records, a possible new line of research is raised which needs to be noted to look into later.
Currently I have Notepad open at the same time and make notes in it, but it would be better if the notes and actions could be performed within FH and attached to the actual records.
