Father's surname to be added automatically

Currently FH automatically appends the father's surname to a child's name when a child's record is created after the father. It would be a logical and sensible extension of this facility to have the father's surname appended automatically when he is created after the child.

I like this suggestion, but what if you were adding the mother of an illegitimate child where the child was given the mother's surname. If you are auto adding a parent's surname it may be better to use the child's surname for the first added parent of either sex.
This way if the child was legitimate it will most likely have the same surname as its father and you are more likely to find the father's name before the mother's. If it was illegitimate it will probably have the mother's surname and you are more likely to find her first rather than the father.

I like the original suggestion that a parents name be automatically generated from that of a previously generated child's.
I suspect that requests can become overly complex on such issues.
Just leave that the first parent created has the name generated from the child. This should be gender independant. The gender is after all selected by user input.
For illegitimate children, are they not generally registered with the mothers name unless tha father is acknowledging the child. Updating changes out to to remain a manual process otherwise you start to have issues as to how far do you cascade a high level change?
