CSS implementation

Post by MCGaylard » 27 Sep 2007 13:09

Why oh why is there an awful mix of inline style and CSS implemented?

Porting in 1000+ pages into Dreamweaver to remove the inline style and replacing this with additional CSS sheets is not going to be funny!

I appreciate that fundamentally FH is gedcom package that can at least render relatively good looking HTML, but the HTML maintenance issue pretty much forces one into into regenerating the site when wanting to make changes globally.

CSS implementation

If you want to produce a more advanced site as it would seem you do, I would look at using phpgedview or tng, remember that V3 is the first version of FH to offer web generation at all.

I will raise a single wish list item for all these requests, rather than overloading the voting with 3 different voting items which I understand, but wonder if the majority of FH users will.
