Family Historian User Group

FH provides relationships to the root in the following form:
  'second cousin three times removed'

It would be nice to have the option of:
  '2C3R'

which would save space in certain views and reports. It would also allow the option to use the relationship to the root in chart boxes without taking up too much space.

You have my vote for this. But (someone:) I cannot locate Andy's idea on the wish list in order to vote for it - I found a 14-page wish list, I searched for 'short', and also for 'relation' but this wish item did not appear. What have I done wrong? Cheers Joyaa, Queensland,[cool]

That's because this forum is for requests and initial discussion and they don't appear in the final list until Jane get round to placing them there.
